Y1.5W zinc oxide lightning arrester is a lightning arrester composed of zinc oxide varistor, mainly used to protect various electrical equipment in power system from overvoltage damage. The working principle is that the varistor presents a high resistance state under normal working voltage, and rapidly reduces the resistance under the action of overvoltage, and introduces the overvoltage to the ground, thus protecting the equipment .
