QJW8 mining flameproof and intrinsically safe contactless vacuum electromagnetic starter (hereinafter referred to as contactiess starter) is based on the mining flameproof and intrinsicaly safe vacuum electromagnetic starter, which changes direct starting to soft starting. It 
reduces the starting current (from 4-8le to 0.5-4le adjustable,thus reducing the impact of the impact current on the power grid and load.
The soft starter is the most advanced and popular motor starter at present. It adopts a 32-bit single-chip microcomputer for inteligent control in Chinese, which can steplessly adjust the voltage to the optimal starting current, ensure that the motor starts smoothly under 
the starting characteristics required by the load, and save electnic energy when the load is light.
The starting methods of traditional squirrel-cage asynchronous motor include direct starting or auto-coupled step-down starting, Y/  conversion,reactor step-down starting, extended triangle step-down starting, etc. In these starting modes, the starting torque is basically fixed, but not adjustable. During the starting process, there will be secondary impact current, which has impact torque on the load machinery and is affected by the voltage fluctuation of the power arid. The resuting instantaneous current spike impact on the previous
main switch (feed switch, high-voltage feed switch with leakage protection) will impact and trip. When the grid voltage drops, it may cause problems such as motor stall. But soft start can overcome the above shortcomings. The soft starter has the advantages of no impact current, stepless voltage regulation to the best starting current and energy saving under light load. It is an ideal substitute for the traditional mine flameproot intrinsically safe vacuum electromagnetic starter. The starter has adjustable starting time, as well as protection functions such as leakage locking, phase falure, overload, undervoltage, overcurent, overload,three-phase imbalance, short circuit, and corresponding faut indication. The soft starter is applicable to underground coal mines, open-pit coal mines, metallurgical mines, ports, coal reparation plants soft start of transportation equioment in heavy load and harsh environment such as power plant.

Main Features

Trolley Structure
High-performance silicon controlled components are used as the main circuit conduction components, and are installed on the patented trolley mechanism with reversing switch, vacuum contactor, current transformer, transformer and other components. The structure layout is reasonable, and the components or troley are highly interchangeable, which is convenient for installation and maintenance.

Intelligent Soft Start:
The advanced microcomputer intelligent protector is adopted, which has the protection functions of overload, short circuit, undervoltage,overvoltage, phase loss, three-phase unbalance, leakage locking, temperature, locked rotor, thyristor breakdown, etc. The advanced thyristo trigger control technology can realize the current imit start, slope start, voltage start, jump+voltage star.,jump+current start and other soft start control modes of the motor, which can meet the requirements of fans,water pumps, gas drainage pumps control requirements for different load equipment such as belt conveyor.

Freely-Adjustable:
With different loads, the soft start mode and soft start time are freely adjustable. After the soft start process is completed, it will automatically switch to the bypass vacuum contactor for operation.

LCD:
The full-Chinese large-screen LCD can display and monitor the three-phase voltage, current, zero-sequence voltage, zero-sequence current active power,reactive power, power factor, electrical degree, insulation resistance and other parameters of the power grid in real time, as well as the fault type, fault time and fault parameters of the equipment, and has the function of fault memory and query.

Four Remote Function:
The parameter setting can be set locally by pressing the button on the side of the main switch and each branch switch screen, or through the centralized control button on the side of the centralized control panel, or can be set remotely by RS-485 interface, or Ethernet optical fiber (optional) and communication with the upper computer of the monitoring system. The remote star and stop can realize the "four remote" function to achieve unattended substation.

Quick-opening mechanism:
The shell adopts the patented screw door opening mechanism, and is equipped with reliable mechanical interlocking, electrical locking, manual tripping and other devices.
