Product Description
KSG series mining dry-type transformers (hereinafter referred to as transformers) are suitable for use in mines with gas, methane, coal dust but no explosion hazard. In power supply lines with AC 50Hz/voltage below 1200V, they provide power for power equipment, coal drills, lighting and other related electrical appliances.

Structure Characteristic
1. Transformer coil: It adopts F or H grade insulation material and is dipped in paint by vacuum pressure equipment. The coil adopts a continuous structure with high mechanical strength and good heat dissipation conditions. The coil after dipped in paint has strong moisture resistance, good flame retardant performance, better impact resistance, no partial discharge, and long service life.
2. Transformer shell: It is made of steel plate welding. The shell can withstand the hydraulic test of 8 Pa gas pressure; The contact surface between the box cover and the box rock meets the flameproof requirements; The box cover is made of steel plate, with cable inlet and outlet horn mouth on it, and rubber gasket is placed on the inner surface of the outlet sleeve. The cable passes through the rubber gasket. After tightening the coil, the rubber gasket can be used to press the cable to ensure sealing. The outer diameter of the selected cable should correspond to the size of the rubber gasket to ensure that the cable can be pressed and completely sealed to ensure waterproof and protective performance;
3. Voltage adjustment: The coil tap of the transformer can be connected in star connection or triangle connection. For example: 660 to 380V or 380 to 220V. When changing the connection, disconnect the transformer from the power supply, open the box cover, and replace the parallel connector on the terminal board.
Service Environment
Dry-type transformers should be able to work normally under the following conditions:
1. Altitude not exceeding 1500m, special environment shall be explained separately;
2. Ambient temperature: maximum temperature +40P, maximum monthly average temperature +25P, minimum temperature -20P;
3. Relative humidity of air not exceeding 95% (at +259);
4. In an environment with gas or steam that does not damage insulation;
5. Installed in a place with coal dust and gas in the mine, but without explosion hazard;
6. The waveform of the power supply voltage is similar to a sine wave.
