Gas Insulated Metal-Enclosed Switchgear High Voltage 72.5kv for Substation
New generation of GIS which is equipped with spring operated
mechanism was developed in 1998. Its arc extinguishing chamber adopts the semi-self energized interrupting principle, adapting gas blast pressure to GIS's breaking current.
 
In 2001, ZF23-126 type GIS equipped with a complete spring operated mechanism was developed, using dual gas chambers to extinguish the arc by way of self -energization.
In 2005, the equipment passed all required type tests and the national-level appraisals.

Structure working principle
The GIS is featured by three-pole-in-one enclosure (except incoming line bushing and and outgoing line bushing). The main components include the Circuit Breaker(CB), three-position Disconnector/ Earthing Switch(DES), Fault-making Earthing Switch, Current Transformer(CT), Voltage Transformer(VT), Lightning Arrestor(LA), incoming/outgoing components( Gas-Air Bushing(BSG), Cable Sealing End(CSE), Oil-Gas Bushing (Oil-Gas BSG), Busbar (BUS)(includes main busbar and branch busbar), Local Control Panel (LCP), etc. All bays can be arranged with the standard components. In power circuit, the conductors for CB are arranged in shape of "straight line", the conductors of other components are arranged in the shape of"regular triangle" in the enclosure.
