Modified polypropylene (MPP) protective pipe is a new type of plastic pipe made of modified polypropylene as the main raw material, using special formula and processing technology. Main Features
1. It has the characteristics of high temperature resistance and external pressure resistance, and is suitable for high-voltage transmission line cable pipes above 10KV. Trenchless engineering MPP pipes (modified polypropylene pipes) are widely used in urban power cables, building water supply and drainage laying and other fields.
2. MPP trenchless pipes do not require excavation construction, and the pipes are hot-melt welded with flexible joints. The welded joints have high strength and can be dragged with high traction over a long length.
3. It has good toughness and excellent resistance to ground settlement and seismic resistance. Commonly used pipes are divided into ordinary and reinforced types. Ordinary type is suitable for excavation and laying construction and trenchless crossing construction with a burial depth of less than 4 meters; reinforced type is used for trenchless crossing construction with a burial depth of more than 4 meters.
4. It has excellent electrical insulation.
5. It has a higher heat deformation temperature and low-temperature impact performance.
6. The tensile and compressive properties are higher than HDPE.
7. It is light, smooth, has low friction resistance, and can be hot-melt welded.
8. Long-term use temperature -5 ~ 70ºC.
Construction Instructions
1. During the transportation and construction of pipes, it is strictly forbidden to throw, hit, scratch, or expose them to the sun.
2. During hot-melt butt welding, the axes of the two pipes must be aligned, and the end faces must be cut vertically and flat.
3. The processing temperature, time, and pressure should be adjusted accordingly depending on the weather conditions.
4. The minimum bending radius of the pipe should be ≥75 of the outer diameter of the pipe.
